Chives with a light to medium garlic flavor. Used in Korean pancakes, many types of kimchi, as a banchan dish, in soups and stews, as an addition to leaf type wraps, and more.
Substitutes: chives, green portion of green onion, slivered and par-boiled garlic stems.

Garlic chives are thought to be originally native to China, but have spread to many places around the world.
