Peeled and sliced Korean pears cooked in water with black peppercorns, ginger, and sugar, then garnished with ground pine nuts.
Baesuk is a variety of hwachae (fruit punch) usually served in the summer or at Chuseok (Autumn festival), but may also be served in some Korean restaurants as a dessert.
